• Allows the first NORFLASH game to operate as a standalone GBA cartridge.

• Supports compatible Nintendo DS games requiring a GBA game cartridge in Slot-2.

The standalone function can operate without a MicroSD card inserted, provided a compatible game has been installed as the first NORFLASH entry.

09. Nintendo DS Link & Rumble Pak Support

On Nintendo DS and DS Lite, the Air provides compatible DS-GBA Link and Rumble Pak functionality.

Important: The EZ-FLASH Air is a GBA flash cartridge, not an NDS game flash cartridge. It does not directly load NDS game ROMs and is not compatible with DSi or 3DS systems through a GBA Slot-2.

MicroSD Card Requirements

• Capacity: 4GB–128GB.

• 32GB and below: FAT32 format.

• Above 32GB: exFAT format.

• Recommended allocation unit size: 32KB for FAT32; 32KB or larger for exFAT.

A compatible MicroSD card is required for normal SD-menu operation.

Important Notes Before Use

1. GBA games must first be written from MicroSD to NORFLASH before they can be played.

2. The actual number of installed games depends on individual file sizes and the available 960Mbit storage.

3. NORFLASH management functions vary by firmware version. Updated firmware supports more flexible game deletion and installation.

4. Soft reset requires the appropriate ADDON configuration and compatible game installation.

5. Cheat functionality requires a compatible cheat database.

6. Before switching between Mode A and Mode B, back up your current save data through the kernel to avoid possible save conflicts.

7. The CR1220 battery maintains SRAM save data and the RTC. Regular save backups are recommended.

8. During firmware updates, never power off the console.

9. DS Link and Rumble Pak functions require compatible DS games and hardware.

10. MicroSD card and additional accessories are included only when specified in the selected package.
